How to spot fakes

This is my personal note and guidelines when it comes to purchasing cosmetics here. I figure I should share it with everyone here because I definitely do not wish to see anyone putting dangerous substances on their faces and paying close-to-retail prices for fake stuff. **ANOTHER WAY TO SPOT FAKES HERE** - Request for a real-life picture of the back of the product/packaging where the product description is. Look out for any typo or formatting errors (spacing, weird font etc.). - Most authentic products also come with product code on the back (eg AB013) - If item was bought in Singapore, there should also be an "imported by" sticker somewhere - Always search for pictures of fake products first, then compare with what you see here before you decide to buy it :) NOT targeting or finger-pointing at any seller. As mentioned it's just guidelines. You may follow or turn a deaf ear - up to you. Brands include: Urban Decay, MAC, Benefit, Bobbi Brown, TheBalm (especially the Nude palette!!) Update on NAKED PALETTE 1 & 2: they should not have a paper case (originals come with hard plastic case) and NP1 should come with eye primer / NP2 with lip gloss. Otherwise 100% fake! For more info you may google the keywords.
