Aeonium Decorum 'Fairy Wings' Plant Description & Care Instructions This variety is a low maintenance plant which is versatile and hardy. Aeonium is moderately drought and heat tolerant, making it a good variety for most conditions. However extreme heat and extreme frost should be avoided. They grow native to the Canary Islands which has a Mediterranean climate and will thrive in similar conditions. They are a winter growing plant (18–24˚C) and require regular water during this period. To encourage the best colour, full sun during winter, and partial sun during summer is best. The colour can vary depending on growing conditions and sun exposure, pink edges can be expected if grown in a sunny position. Once fully grown this plant will develop into a bush approx 60 cm high and 60 cm across. Each rosette will grow to be around 4 cm. This plant will also suit mass planting, edge planting and container planting. Plant Specifications Your plant will be approx 10-15 cm tall, established with roots, with multiple rosettes. Our plants are posted dry rooted (meaning out of a pot with most dirt removed from roots) to reduce spillage and plant damage. Your plant may vary from the specimen pictured, however we will ensure that it is of a similar size and in good health.
