Black on Rose. Majunga Provisional. This is a highly desirable stamp / it’s immensely rare provisional. This type was thought to be very few Existing Used. HOWEVER this a mounted république française stamp of that era . Centred a bit to the right (As are All genuine examples IF KNOWN) so I’m Advised. Strong Color , cancelled very lightly , Perfect No Crease. Purchased in the Middle East —> Port Saïd in the v early 60’s. As per Calves & Gilbert , ex ( Yvett# Gibralter last known value € 9200 —> sold in auction at $3000 three years ago ( referring to the cancelled stamp) Not this unit .
